Prudential Tropical Realty has announced a new program called Foundation Month, scheduled to bring awareness to the company’s adopted philanthropy, the Warrick Dunn Foundation’s Homes for the Holidays. TAMPA, Fla. - (June 28, 2005) – Prudential Tropical Realty has announced a new program called Foundation Month, scheduled to bring awareness to the company’s adopted philanthropy, the Warrick Dunn Foundation’s Homes for the Holidays. Foundation Month kicks off July 1, 2005, and is designed to call attention to buyers and sellers working with Prudential Tropical Realty that, if they choose, they can donate to the program. Home sellers can participate by designating their properties as a Homes for the Holidays listing. Special sign riders displaying the Prudential Tropical Realty/Homes for the Holidays logo are then placed on the yard signs of those listings as a way to illustrate to others that the homeowners support this worthy program. When the home sells, the owners’ agreed contributions are then donated to Homes for the Holidays at closing. Home buyers can also help a deserving family own a home by agreeing to make a donation upon the closing of their properties. The company has several events scheduled throughout the summer months in recognition of "Foundation Month." In addition to a company-wide auction of office furniture and equipment and a walk-a-thon, some offices have scheduled parking lot garage sales that are open to the public.
