NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - (May 13, 2005) – Prudential Tropical Realty is pleased to announce the acquisition of Chandler & Co. in Lakeland, Fla. This brings the total number of Prudential Tropical Realty offices to 12 with approximately 450 associates. The acquisition also expands the Prudential Tropical Realty territory to four counties – Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Polk. Prudential Tropical Realty acquired the Lakeland boutique firm to expand its reach east into Polk County. Since its inception in 2001, Chandler & Company has been recognized as Lakeland’s leading number-one independent real estate firm specializing in residential properties. In 2004, Chandler & Company boasted sales of more than $41 million.
